Residence Permit for non-EU Family Members

This residence permit applies to non-EU family members of EU residents in Spain.

Unlike the EU Residence Permit, the Residence Permit for non-EU Family Members is not granted immediately at the Police Station. We will prepare all the required documents and request it on behalf of the non-EU Family Member. Once the residency request is granted, we will arrange the last step of the procedure which is the request of the Foreigner’s ID Card (in Spanish – TIE).

The validity of the Residence Permit for non-EU Family Members is 5 years and can be renewed for a permanent residence permit if the requirements are met. The EU Residence Permit allows its holder to reside and work in Spain.
